As aProject Planner , you will work within a project controls team, on a broad spectrum of projects within ASTRAEA, in a highly regulated environment.Your day as a Project Planner with AWE could look like this:As a senior planner demonstrate the use of solid planning methodology and the tools to provide advice, support and development supporting the programme/project teams through the project lifecycle from concept to delivery, acting as the specialist in all elements schedule.Working with Project Managers and some innovative specialists, to guide and develop them on project control best practice. This will involve working on but not exclusive to schedule management, development of business cases, change control, risk and opportunity management, development of planners and project controls professionals, schedule review, communicating data to various levels from Senior management.As a Planner, we are looking for individuals who are proficient in the following - Including extensive knowledge of Primavera P6Experience in programme / project planning including best practice planning methodology and the use of the P6 and other software packages required to support this, Risk and opportunity management including confidence modelling processes and techniques Understanding and knowledge of all disciplines within project controls Good communication and presentation skills Prioritising and working to challenging timescales Knowledge of NEC ¾ Contracts and the role of the scheduleIf you are an experienced Planner who is proficient with P6 and you feel that this role and AWE are a great fit for you, please go ahead and apply, we’d love to receive your application.Some Reasons We Think You’ll Love It Here:9-day working fortnight – meaning you get every other Friday off work. 270 hours holiday Market leading contributory pension scheme (AWE pay between 9% and 13% of your pensionable pay depending on your contributions).The'Working at AWE' pageon our website is where you can find full details in the'AWE Benefits Guide'.Important Things You Need To Know:Our interviews are about 90 minutes on TEAMs during working hours and may include a presentation P6 proficiency may be tested as part of your recruitment journeyDo reach out for more info to Steps:Everyone who works at AWE brings unique skills and perspectives to the table.
