The role will primarily focus on reviewing, negotiating and drafting IT contracts (including IT services and support agreements, software licences and reseller agreements). Some flexibility to deal with other types of commercial contracts and more general legal matters (such as compliance, employment and dispute resolution) may also be required. Is there a match? Strong background in managing and negotiating complex IT contracts Experience of public sector procurement processes and the Crown Commercial Services frameworks In-depth knowledge of IT, IP and data protection law Excellent drafting and negotiating skills Able to provide clear, concise and commercially focused advice Able to work independently and as part of a team Enjoys working in an entrepreneurial and fast paced environment We welcome applications from candidates with either an in-house or a private practice background.
