Our 77 place nursery in Berkhamsted is a short walk away from the lovely town centre which has a range of beautiful shops, boutiques and an array of coffee shops and restaurants. The nursery is close to transport links, having a local bus stop and Train Station which is 15 minutes’ walk away. There is a car park available for employees and families to use. The nursery is next door to a Leisure Centre, perfect for a swim or gym session before or after your working day. In 2024, our team were very proud to be awarded a ‘Good’ OFSTED rating.Nursery NurseAs a Nursery Nurse, you will spend your days looking after children from 3 months old, right up to pre-school age. You’ll ensure that the children have fun whilst being sensitive and attentive to their individual needs.This role is open to those with an NVQ Level 3 in Childcare. Full time (40 hours a week) and part time (20 hours a week) required. We are also recruiting for qualified staff to join our Supply Team on a zero hour contract and lunch cover roles.Salary for Nursery Nurse is up to £27,622.40 per annumPreschool Room LeaderWe are currently seeking people who are passionate about childcare to join our team of staff as a Room Leader.The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day running of the room. Building relationships with children and communicating well with their parents. Making sure every working day is fun!Your Qualifications And ExperienceSuitable qualifications: an NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent. Knowledge and understanding of the EYFS, and the ability to refer to the EYFS Framework when planning activities. To be aware of the role of planning, observation and keeping records when caring for nursery aged children. Genuine enthusiasm for working with children and meeting their needs.
