DescriptionYou will be responsible for providing effective leadership for the Work Based Tutors (WBT). Supporting and working with the Apprenticeship Data and Compliance Manager, Apprenticeship Quality Practitioner, and Director of Apprenticeships to ensure the apprenticeship area contributes to and achieves the College's objectives of becoming an outstanding, innovative, and customer-focused provider that promotes growth in recruitment and delivers service excellence for all. Key ResponsibilitiesManage the Work Based Tutors to ensure highly efficient delivery of apprenticeship standards that meet the needs of both apprentices and employers. Lead and support curriculum innovation within the team to ensure the apprenticeship offer is effective and aligned with national, regional, and local government agendas. Promote excellence in curriculum management, development, and innovation, facilitating the sharing of best practices. Support the Apprenticeship Director to ensure high team performance through effective use of the College's performance management system, including monthly 1-1 reviews and annual appraisals. Lead, motivate, and support teams to contribute fully to the development of the programme area. Coordinate internal and external verification processes, liaising with awarding bodies, external verifiers, and the College's exams team. Support the Apprenticeship Quality Practitioner to ensure OFSTED requirements are met for apprenticeship delivery quality. Assist the Data and Compliance Manager to ensure ESFA compliance and adherence to internal systems and processes. Manage programme teams to ensure compliance with the College's quality assurance processes. Contribute to the production of a robust self-assessment report, engaging work-based tutors in the process. Lead preparations for external and internal inspections. Support audits of OneFile and Maytas, and oversee work-based tutor and peer observations to meet quality priorities. Ensure timely coordination of all End Point Assessments (EPA) for apprenticeships. Collaborate with marketing and partners to promote the provision and foster growth. Assist in developing commercial courses and apprenticeships that meet employer needs, both in-house and virtual. Provide timely data on projected achievements for operational meetings. Participate actively in the College's wider management group. Pursue continuous professional development. Perform any other duties of similar responsibility as required.
