We are looking to recruit compassionate , qualified , creative and motivated nurse to help deliver crucial care .All applicants must have at least 1 year post registration . The successful candidate will be provided with a clear development and support plan to ensure you maximise your learning within the role and offer you exposure to ward leadership and learning opportunities . As a charge nurse of female ward, the post holder will be committed to working with trauma informed care models/approaches .Topaz ward is currently 17-Bedded female acute ward based at high gate mental health centre , West wing . We are seeking charge nurse who have the capacity and drive to take the ward through essential change processes.The post holder will support the management of ward/unit and will deputise for the Ward/Unit Manager as required. S/he will carry out allocated duties at the direction of the Ward/Unit Manager and provide clinical supervision and support to an identified staff group. S/he will regularly take charge of the ward and manage the team in the absence of the Ward Manager. The post holder will work within a multi-disciplinary team framework in the delivery of care to patients within the intensive care setting.S/he will act as a primary/associate nurse for a group of patients, assessing, planning, delivering and evaluating care. As a primary/associate nurse the post holder will promote person-centred care and ensure that all care plans reflect this approach.
