About the Role An exciting opportunity has arisen for aBIM Coordinatorto join the team in West London. The role will support multidisciplinary architectural project teams in implementing BIM tools and workflows, working on high-profile, large-scale luxury retail developments ranging from 150,000 sqm to 800,000 sqm. The BIM Coordinator will be pivotal in the successful setup, management, and coordination of BIM models throughout all project stages, from concept design through to completion. You’ll provide technical support, drive efficiencies in workflows, deliver training, and ensure adherence to project-specific BIM standards and protocols. This is a hands-on, technically challenging role for someone who enjoys problem-solving, improving digital design processes, and contributing to ambitious global projects. About You Key Skills & Responsibilities: Setup and edit complex Revit families and project templates Develop automation workflows between Revit and Rhino using tools such as Dynamo and Grasshopper Implement and maintain Rhino/Revit/AutoCAD interoperability workflows Deliver training and workshops to team members on BIM software and best practices Provide ongoing technical support and troubleshoot BIM-related challenges Participate in early-stage project discussions to identify BIM requirements and potential challenges Attend project kick-off meetings to advise on BIM strategy and implementation Contribute to negotiations regarding BIM deliverables and scope of services in contracts Author and maintain BIM Execution Plans (BEP) and collaborative project documentation Ensure BIM model accuracy and manage information issued to external consultants Identify and drive improvements in BIM workflows and standards across the practice Assist in the development of project-specific Revit families and manage the practice’s BIM library Communicate changes in standards or workflows effectively to project teams Support clash detection processes to resolve coordination issues early Personal Skills & Qualifications: Team player with the ability to work independently and manage own workload Proactive and flexible, with a “can-do” attitude and strong problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure Degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, or a related discipline Minimum 3-5 years’ experience as a BIM Coordinator on large-scale projects Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit and related plugins Strong experience working in BIM 360 environments Skilled at integrating complex Rhino geometries into Revit workflows Experience with Dynamo and/or Grasshopper highly desirable Familiarity with legacy CAD applications and practices Proven experience delivering projects to BIM standards, including QA and validation processes Knowledge of common data environment (CDE) practices beneficial Experience on large-scale or complex international projects highly advantageous Seniority levelSeniority level Mid-Senior level Employment typeEmployment type Full-time Job functionJob function Design and Art/Creative Industries Architecture and Planning, Interior Design, and Design Services Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Locri Recruitment by 2x Get notified about new BIM Coordinator jobs inLondon Area, United Kingdom .
