We’re looking for a Lead Engineer to oversee high-level fault finding, commissioning, and snagging for our residential projects. You’ll be at the forefront of ensuring that our systems and installations meet the highest technical standards, solving complex issues and driving technical excellence across all projects. As a fast growing company this is an exciting opportunity to work on some prestigious projects whilst having the autonomy and flexibility to influence your role. We have some very nice projects in the pipeline for the right person to take the lead on site. What you’ll do: Lead and mentor the engineering team, ensuring high standards of work and adherence to project specifications, both on site with them and remotely. Handle complex fault finding and high level problem-solving both on projects but also service visits. Therefore programming experience is essential. Oversee the commissioning process and snagging phase, ensuring systems are fully functional and meet client requirements and our standards. ·Liaising with trades on site and answering questions and making decisions where necessary. Keeping abreast of site progress and spotting any potential issues or challenges and ensuring thorough, accurate information is fed back to the project manager. ·Performing physical surveys, client handovers, attending service visits for fault finding and completing existing system health checks will form some of this role. ·There is the opportunity to support our technical director on system design if this is something you want exposure to. ·Testing and exploring new products and equipment at our showroom. ·As a small team, from time to time the role will require you to get stuck in and support on physical installation when needed. ·While we respect your work-life balance and have systems in place to protect your time, when urgent issues arise, we expect you to be contactable outside normal hours. ·We offer flexibility when you need it—finish early if the work’s done, but be ready to put in extra hours if something breaks or needs fixing. Teamwork comes first. ·Whilst most of our work is in London, we do take on projects further afield and do around one project a year in Europe so you will be expected to travel from time to time.
