The role holder provides technical expertise to deliver ICT projects, ranging from small application changes to large, complex projects, programs, or portfolios. The team ensures technical requirements are met within time and budget, delivering approximately 2500 days of effort across 400 projects annually. The Technical Consultant is responsible for reviewing customer requirements, estimating technical resources, and delivering projects according to standards and SLA-driven environments. Please note - Candidates applying will be required to undergo and be eligible for NPPV3 clearance. What you’ll be doingProviding Technical Consultancy services for the Devonshire and Cornwall Police Contract, ensuring customer needs are met, and delivering technical activities across projects and small changes. Planning, testing, and documenting new and existing functionalities to defined specifications and requirements. Estimating, analyzing, designing, documenting, developing, testing, and debugging services to meet SLAs/KPIs. Delivering a compliant and innovative service that meets contractual obligations and customer needs. Identifying and progressing new business opportunities, service enhancements, and development initiatives. Core skills include Problem Solving, Decision Making, Growth Mindset, and Technical Support.
