They will have contact with various parts of the organisation, providing advice to budget holders on all aspects of budget control far beyond “controlling by numbers” and profitability along with working with other members of the finance team. They must demonstrate proactive business management through business partnering with the business units, optimizing of financial results through sound convincing analysis and calculation of profitability as well as the extrapolation of respective adequate measures are key to this position. They must operate in a timely manner with accuracy and attention to detail along with ensuring that deadlines are adhered to.What You Will DoProduce monthly, quarterly and year end closing Management Accounts Prepare and deliver daily and monthly financial and managerial reports to support the achievement of organizational objectives Analyse variances in sales, margin and cost centres and explore variances/potential problems with line managers Undertake forecast variance analysis at agreed intervals during the year in conjunction with budget holders Ensure that where necessary cross charges are managed and internal costs are correctly allocated Take a lead in the preparation of annual operating budgets and annual audited financial statements Comply with internal reporting as necessary Manage the P&L by customer, country, and sector as necessary Make recommendations (to include cost saving opportunities) to the business based on analysis and discussion and advise of the impact to the department/business Provide all budget holders with up-to-date information in relation to their budgets Under direction from your line manager/business partner produce ad-hoc information on the business finances to the Leadership Team Analysis: Profitability for product launches and relaunches along with pricing and promotion analysis based on business requirements Support the Commercial Director in the monthly forecast process, through future business and P&L impact analysis, chairing and presenting the monthly forecast meeting. Provide financial SME support to the Commercial team for strategic projects and insight. To develop and maintain productive value-added relationships with all stakeholders What You Will Need:Fully qualified (ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) Educated to degree level ideally in an analytical discipline Ideally 3+ (3 to 5 years) years of experience and proven success in respective positions in international matrix organisation Ideally FMCG experience (in a strongly branded, product led innovation and consumer/customer insight driven organisation) First-hand experience of management accounts planning, budgeting and forecasting (solid background in financial management, ideally all aspects, but as minimum in management accounting, FP&A) How we work: Having been selected among the World´s Most Ethical Companies for 16 consecutive years, we are a company with a purpose and strong corporate values.
