ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY Digital PR is one of the core components of the Earned Media offering at NP Digital. We’re looking for a manager that can lead impactful PR campaigns that earn high authority coverage, to increase organic visibility and brand recognition for our clients. This is an opportunity to lead our Digital PR offering, working alongside the SEO, Content, UX and DAI teams. The perfect candidate will have experience planning campaigns, shaping strategies, resourcing projects and mentoring others. To be considered, candidates must currently reside and be eligible to work in the United Kingdom and be willing to work in the office a minimum of 2 days per week. ABOUT THE RESPONSIBILITIES Reporting to the Head of Earned Media, the Digital PR Manager will be responsible for determining and executing best-in-class Digital PR strategies to drive key business outcomes for NP Digital clients. A key part of this role is also helping to shape the Digital PR product offering, with a clear vision of how it aligns with the other earned media services. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Plan, develop, and execute digital PR campaigns that align with client goals and deliver measurable SEO and brand visibility impact Secure high-quality backlinks and media coverage through newsworthy content, storytelling, and journalist outreach Set, monitor and analyse campaign KPIs, using data insights to optimise future PR strategies Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, editors, bloggers, and key media contacts across a range of sectors Collaborate with SEO, content, and UX teams to align campaign messaging Conduct both proactive and reactive PR to capitalise on trending topics and real-time media opportunities Oversee campaign project management, ensuring deadlines and client expectations are consistently met Contribute to client reporting, presentations, and strategy sessions, showcasing the value of Digital PR in broader marketing plans Mentor and support junior team members, sharing best practices and contributing to training and team development Resourcing Digital PR projects, building a talent pool of contractors where required ABOUT YOU Ideally 4-5 years' experience in a Digital PR role within an agency or fast-paced environment Confident in using PR and SEO tools such as Response Source, Muck Rack, HARO, Cision, BuzzStream, Ahrefs, or Semrush Strong understanding of how Digital PR contributes to SEO performance and brand growth A demonstrable track record of securing media placements in top-tier publications (national, lifestyle, B2B, etc.) Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a flair for storytelling and content ideation Solid media relations skills with an established network of journalist contacts (UK and/or international) Ability to manage multiple campaigns and priorities simultaneously, with great attention to detail Experience with data-driven campaigns, survey creation, and turning insights into compelling stories Understanding of content marketing and its role within a broader digital marketing strategy Creative thinker with the ability to pitch original campaign ideas Strong analytical mindset and ability to interpret data and draw insights Experience working with international brands or markets is a plus Proactive, self-motivated, and highly organised Comfortable presenting ideas and results to internal stakeholders and clients ABOUT YOUR GROWTH As an organization we support your growth and development by investing in your learning to advance your career.
