The successful candidate will have a proactive approach in problem-solving to address production issues and have a continuous improvement mindset. You will aim to produce products of the highest quality by ensuring that all quality and food safety procedures are followed. What’s on Offer: Paying up to £65,000 (d.o.e) 28 days holiday Company pension Private medical care Monday – Friday (days – flexibility with working hours) Responsibilities: Manage and oversee the daily operations of the production floor during your designated shift. Oversee the safe, efficient & effective operation of the production area in accordance with schedules and agreed targets Manage and lead a team of production staff, providing guidance, training, and motivation. Identify and resolve production issues to minimise downtime and wastage. Adhere to and enforce all safety and regulatory guidelines to create a safe working environment for all employees. 5+ years’ experience within a manufacturing environment ideally within ambient products Knowledge of Food Safety/HACCP requirements Strong track record of people management and development Excellent ability to communicate with stakeholders across various levels.
