PRINCIPAL INDIRECT PROCUREMENT CONSULTANT - BOUTIQUE PROCUREMENT CONSULTANCYLONDON (1x PER WEEK) – MUST BE BASED IN THE UK - £50,000-£70,000 + PACKAGEIf you are an experienced procurement professional (c.5 years’ experience) with prior consultancy experience or looking to break into consultancy, this is your opportunity to join a rapidly growing organisation who are looking for innovative thinkers to join their ranks as they continue to win new business!With a broad range of clients across both the public and private sector, this is a chance for an ambitious senior procurement consultant to step up into a principal consultant role that will be incredibly varied and give them excellent exposure to managing clients and project teams.Principal Indirect Procurement Consultant, Role Responsibilities :-Autonomously lead on client delivery engagements, taking responsibility over a team of consultants/ senior consultants to create & implement innovative procurement strategiesOperate across a broad range of public and private sector clients, giving you excellent exposure across a wide range of industries and functionsStart to get involved in business development – this is not targeted at this level but the organisation gives you the freedom to bring in work and be rewarded for it unlike many of the larger consultanciesSupport the development of consultants/ senior consultants within the businessPrincipal Indirect Procurement Consultant, Required Background: -You will need experience building out procurement strategy and delivering cost savings across a range of indirect procurement categories, ideally having had some exposure to either FM or IT procurementYou will also need to be somewhat industry agnostic, being open to lead on projects across both public and private sector. Any prior exposure to public sector procurement or the Procurement Act is beneficial but not essentialMost importantly, you will need to be able to evidence your strong delivery in previous role(s) by showcasing savings on your CV, whilst also emphasising your ability to think outside of the box rather than just follow process.Degree is essential for this roleMCIPS qualified or started CIPS is preferredFor the opportunity to join a growing boutique Procurement consultancy, please email an updated CV to:
