At Parico, we deliver world-class solutions that transform the way that our clients use technology.The Role:Parico is seeking an experienced Project Manager to work on exciting and dynamic projects who prospers against the challenge of working closely with a small business to solve complex and challenging problems across the Public Sector landscape. You’ll have the freedoms to be truly innovative to roll up your sleeves, get stuck into the detail of systems, and generally do what it takes to achieve the successful delivery of incredible technical solutions to our customer’s complex problems.You will manage teams developing greenfield IT systems, services and software for our clients, using cloud services and on-premise infrastructure components.Responsibilities include: Develop and implement project plans, including defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables, to ensure successful project execution.Manage project resources, including budget, personnel, and equipment, to ensure that all resources are allocated effectively and efficiently.Monitor and track project progress against key performance indicators (KPIs), adjusting project plans and resources as necessary to meet objectives.Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, sponsors, and senior management, to ensure alignment of project objectives and expectations.Provide the link between the Technology teams, the Business and customers, whilst managing the end-to-end project delivery.Monitoring the project budget provided and include suggestions of back-to-green measures where applicable.Define and monitor KPIs across owned projects to further encourage timely delivery.Ensure that agreed project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.Develop and deliver regular project status reports and presentations to stakeholders, highlighting progress, risks, and any necessary adjustments to the project plan.Our Ideal Candidate:A proven track record for delivering several large-scale IT projects, with direct responsibility for project governance standards, practices, and procedures.At least 3 years’ experience in IT project management.Experience of delivery against tight timescales and ability to articulate vision, progress, risks at various levels including Chief Executive Officer.Excellent problem-solving skills and comfortable taking on new challenges.Outstanding attention to detail.Working as part of an Agile development team.Experience working with project tools including Microsoft Project, Jira and Confluence.Have demonstrable sector knowledge or experience within UK Defence (Army, Royal Air force or Royal Navy).Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to hold a minimum of UK Security Clearance (SC).Hold a UK Driving Licence and have a willingness to travel to client sites.Essential Qualifications:Prince 2 Practitioner, APM Project Management Qualification, ISEB Certificate in Project Management or equivalentWhat’s in it for you?A high-performance company culture that will help you to progress quickly and thrive.Kitted out with a full suite of tech goodies and any additional tech you may need with our work-from-home subsidy upon joining, so you can kit out your home office.A free catered lunch in the office once per week.25 days of paid holiday (plus 8 bank holidays).10 days at full pay for Armed Forces Reservist training.Private health insurance provided through AXA PPP and mental health support through our Employee Assistance Program.Salary Sacrifice Electric Vehicle car scheme with Octopus EnergyDiscretionary company bonusFlexible Life Insurance, with a minimum of 2 x salary and rewards, provided by YuLife.Flexible working hours to support life admin as well as being able to work from home.Enhanced Private pension contributions, matched up to 5%We’re family friendly, with Parico company policies built to support you, in all stages of life.If you're relocating to join the team, we'll provide a contribution to help with your costs.If you are interested in this exciting opportunity and meet the requirements, please submit your application today.
