The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the purchasing process, ensuring that our supply chain operates efficiently and effectively. The Buyer will be responsible for sourcing high-quality products at competitive prices while maintaining positive relationships with suppliers.The benefits; Bonus scheme after 1 year of employment, 25 days holiday plus BH, employer pension contribution, private healthcare, free parking and more.ResponsibilitiesConducting research and engaging with prospective vendors.Sourcing and evaluating vendor quotations.Negotiating pricing and contractual terms.Creating and submitting customer quotations.Managing the placement and processing of purchase orders.Monitoring order status to ensure timely customer deliveries.Collaborating with warehouse and logistics teams to maintain quality and delivery standards.Managing supplier relationships (SRM).Maintaining and developing customer relationships (CRM).Performing general client service tasks RequirementsProven experience as a Buyer or in a similar procurement role.We would also consider candidates from a logistics environmentStrong negotiation skillsAdditional languages a huge bonus but not essentialStrong communication skills to liaise effectively with suppliers and internal teams.If you are passionate about procurement and possess the required skills, we invite you to apply for this exciting opportunity to contribute to our company's success.
