Building Control Surveyor – North West London Council £60 per hour Umbrella LTD (Class 2A) / £75 per hour Umbrella LTD (Class 2F) 36 hours per week 3-month rolling contract (likely to extend) Overview of the role: We are currently recruiting for an experienced Building Control Surveyor to join a local authority in North West London. This role is suitable for surveyors classed between 2A and 2F, with the rate of pay reflecting experience and capability level. This is a fantastic opportunity to support a busy Building Control team working on a wide range of residential and commercial schemes across the borough. Previous local authority experience is essential. Responsibilities:Carry out site inspections to assess compliance with Building RegulationsProvide professional advice to developers, architects, and the publicAssess and process building control applications and noticesIssue enforcement and compliance notices where necessaryMaintain accurate records and contribute to team meetings and reportingHandle dangerous structures and out-of-hours responses as required (rota-based)Requirements:Class 2A to 2F Building Control competency (LABC/ABE/CABE/CIOB registered)Proven track record working in local authority Building Control teamsStrong working knowledge of Building Regulations and relevant legislationExcellent written and verbal communication skillsFull UK driving licence and access to a vehicle preferredContact: Speak with James at Service Care Solutions on 01772 208967 or email james.glover@.uk to apply or for more information.
