Senior Sourcing Lead FM, Real Estate & Indirects – Financial Services Major – Global Firm – central London (hybrid, 1-2 days per week) – up to £115,000 + Excellent BenefitsThis multi-award winning global Financial Services major has been enjoying spectacular growth and as a result their expenditure is sky-rocketing beyond the current £15bn. As a result, gaining greater spend control is a priority for the Board and there has been an influx of top-down investment in a mission to drive Global Procurement towards best-in-class. As part of this, a new senior management position has been created for a high-achieving Procurement professional. You will be a key member of the team as Sourcing team transitions to a Global function.As Senior Sourcing Lead FM, Real Estate & Indirects you will:-Manages and develops a team of Sourcing personnel, each aligned to one of the Categories under responsibility, to drive effective category management.Leads a high-performing team, providing guidance to enhance team performance and ensuring thorough documentation of sourcing and contracting decision-making.Partner with stakeholders to manage the category efficiently, overseeing category plans, reporting on progress, ensuring alignment with strategic and budgetary goals and financial targets, and recommending innovative sourcing strategies to address complex or specialised business needs.Facilitates and executes responsible sourcing strategies at the category level, integrating Carbon, ESG, and DE&I initiatives within the supply chain to ensure ethical and sustainable practices.Develop and implement the Global category plan including Vision, Strategy and Implementation Road Map.Instill a high performance culture amongst the wider Procurement team.To qualify for this Senior Sourcing Lead position you must have:Significant FM/Real Estate Category experienceOther indirect category experience is desirable (e.g. HR, Marketing, Travel)5+ years’ experience managing a category planning and sourcing teamExperience in collaborating with stakeholders to define procurement requirements, evaluating supplier proposals and recommending preferred options for business needs.Demonstrated history of facilitating and executing responsible sourcing strategies, integrating initiatives within the supply chain to ensure ethical and sustainable practices.Experience in purchasing technology-related goods and services (including cloud solutions, software, and hardware) is strongly desirable, to support the ever-increasing incorporation of technology into operational solutions.Strong degree from a good university (or equivalent)MCIPS preferred though not essentialThis is an exceptional opportunity to break into a globally revered FTSE 100 brand, establish oneself within an influential Procurement Leadership Team and pave your way to Global Procurement Directorship.To find out more and apply please email your CV to or directly through this forum.
