 About the Role:IN HOUSE ROLE - Sidcup South East London We’re looking for a commercially savvy, design-led UX Designer to join our growing team at House of Willow Alexander. You’ll be our in-house digital aesthetic guardian, responsible for designing high-converting user experiences across our WooCommerce WordPress platform, as well as crafting beautiful supporting visuals for print, editorial, and digital channels.This is a rare opportunity to join a high-growth, purpose-led home and garden lifestyle brand at the intersection of sustainability, technology, and design.Key Responsibilities:UX/UI & Website DesignDesign and optimise user flows, wireframes, and responsive layouts for our WooCommerce site.Collaborate with devs and marketing to deploy and test user experiences that convert.Maintain and evolve the design system and brand consistency across all web assets.WordPress & WooCommerceWork with developers (or light theme editing yourself) to implement visual updates using Elementor/Divi or custom themes.Manage landing pages, campaign pages, and microsites for products and services.Optimise UX for both desktop and mobile performance and accessibility.Visual & Print DesignCreate marketing collateral including pitch decks, PDFs, brochures, signage, packaging, and in-store assets.Collaborate with content and social teams to deliver visually engaging stories for email, blog, and video thumbnails.Optional: SEO & Digital MarketingUX collaboration with SEO team to improve engagement and CRO.Design lead magnets and conversion-focused visuals.A/B test layout variations with marketing and growth teams. What You’ll Need:3+ years experience in UX design with a strong focus on WordPress/WooCommerce.Strong portfolio of eCommerce design work.Proficient in Figma or Adobe XD, and graphic tools like Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop.Good understanding of UX principles, accessibility, and responsive design.Print design experience a bonus (especially branded decks, posters, packaging).Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS/JS is a plus.Bonus: SEO knowledge or experience working on CRO campaigns. Desirable Traits:Deeply customer-focused, intuitive, and user-obsessed.Multidisciplinary creative with a love for sustainable, aspirational brands.Able to switch between fast-turnaround marketing work and high-level UX planning.Strategic thinker who can make design decisions rooted in conversion and engagement.
