Our client, a UK-leading retailer, is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to lead key supply chain initiatives and enhance operational performance across multiple supplier networks. This is a fantastic opportunity to drive impact in a fast-paced, nationally recognised retail environment.Key Responsibilities:Lead supply chain projects with a strong focus on freight forwarding and logistics optimisationManage and improve the end-to-end supply chain process across suppliers, 3PLs, and internal stakeholdersIdentify bottlenecks, pain points, and inefficiencies throughout the supply chainWork closely with suppliers and logistics partners to develop, track, and implement resolutions to ongoing issuesDeliver project milestones on time and within budget, reporting to senior stakeholdersSupport transformation efforts across freight, warehousing, and distributionIdeal Candidate Will Have:Proven experience in supply chain and logistics, ideally within retail or FMCGIn-depth knowledge of freight forwarding, logistics providers, and global shipping processesStrong experience working with 3PLs, freight partners, and cross-functional supply chain teamsAbility to identify root causes and deliver effective, pragmatic solutionsExcellent stakeholder management, supplier engagement, and communication skillsExperience managing projects outside IR35 desirable
