With multiple rooms and a strong programme of local and international events — including Central Scotland’s busiest midweek student nights — Fubar has been at the heart of the city’s nightlife for decades.We are now seeking an experienced, commercially-minded, and highly motivated General Manager to lead the venue’s operations, drive business growth, and maintain the high standards Fubar is known for.The RoleAs General Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind the club’s success – overseeing all aspects of day-to-day operations, shaping the customer experience, growing sales and leading a high-performing team. You'll work closely with promoters, brands, and partners to deliver unforgettable nights while developing the business and ensuring a smooth delivery of our events calendar.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage all operational aspects of the venueDrive sales and profitability while maintaining brand standardsCollaborate with marketing and promotional teams to develop compelling campaignsEnsure compliance with all licensing, health and safety, and company policiesMonitor and analyse financial performance, implementing strategies to exceed targetsInspire, train, and support your team to deliver consistently high service standardsAbout you:A natural leader with a hands-on approach who can inspire and manage a strong teamMinimum 2 years’ experience as a General Manager or Deputy General Manager in a busy late-night venueHold a valid Personal LicenceProven track record in achieving strong financial resultsStrong understanding of both digital and offline marketingExcellent leadership and communication skillsUp-to-date knowledge of nightlife trends, customer expectations, and competitor activityProven ability to manage different types of clientele and deliver exceptional guest experiencesHighly organised, standards-focused, and adaptable under pressureSalary - £30-40k
