At 2020 Recordings we are specialists in all aspects of voice production, music and sound design. With 25 years of experience, we are a community of experts from different industries working across audiobooks, games, music and creative audio projects. Based at our studios in Tileyard, Kings Cross, we have an eclectic and friendly team and we’re looking for a new member.Due to the nature of this role, it will mostly require the successful candidate to work from our studios and office, however there will be some flexibility for working from home where the work allows. The ideal candidate for this role is excited about what we do, who we are and is ready to be a part of our growing business. They are highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented, with excellent communication skills to collaborate very closely with both the engineering and production teams.To apply please email with your CV and a short (less than 200 words) cover letter about yourself and why you would be suited to the role.The RoleThis candidate will be responsible for the smooth and efficient management and implementation of all post-production processes for our projects, with a strong emphasis on voice led content and audiobooks. Working closely with the Head of Post Production, the candidate will be a central point of contact for our production team, audio engineers, and clients, ensuring clear communication and the seamless flow of information.Key ResponsibilitiesContribute to the planning and tracking of project timelines, ensuring all deadlines for the Post-Production team are met, from small quick-turnaround jobs to large, complex productions.Act as a key point of technical contact for project-related queries from clients and internal teams.Contribute to the development of new workflow efficiencies.Audio post-production on projects as required, including dialogue editing, sound design, mixing and mastering on audiobooks and other voice-led projects.Engineer recording sessions as required, recording voiceover for projects ranging from audiobooks to podcasts and video games.Minimum RequirementsExperience managing multiple complex audio projects simultaneouslyStrong understanding of audio engineering principals, specifically in voice-over, studio recording, post-production and mixing contexts.Comfortable with loudness specifications and audio delivery practises.At least 2 years experience in a professional setting using Pro Tools and audio plug-ins such as iZotope RX to repair and edit dialogue recordings and other audio.Desire to lead by example and ability to inspire others to excellence.An approachable attitude and excellent communication skills.A self-starter, both able to work alone and as a team player. Able to help at all levels to get the job done.Good computer literacy, including file management (preferably on MacOS), Google Workspace and Microsoft Office.Additional Candidate CriteriaExperience working with high profile talent and clients in high pressure environmentsDeadline 5th AugustSalary Between £30k and £35k depending on experience
