Quality Controller QA/QC Our client based in Scotland are currently looking for a QA/QC for a new installation site in North Wales. The site is a construction site relating to stainless steel tank storage so knowledge of tanks and welding/fabrication is essential. This is a contract role for around 5/6 months. Role:To ensure all construction activities relating to tank fabrication and erection meet the strictest quality, safety and regulatory standards. Oversee fabrication and installation inspections. Reviewing welding documentation. Ensuring all quality control procedures are implemented and maintained. Conduct inspections of welding, fabrication and erection, WPSs and industry codings. Verify material, consumables and traceability requirements prior to fabrication and installation. Review and manage quality documentation including inspection and test planns (ITPs), weld maps and QA records. Liaise with site management team and third party inspectors. Maintain accurate and up-to-date QA/QC records. Highlight and report any non-conformances. Assist in root cause analysis and drive corrective actions. Participate in site audits and client quality reviews. Support the compilation of project handover and manufacturing data records (MDRs).
