Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacist to join our Pharmacy team at HMP The Mount, on a fixed term contract. HMP The Mount is a category C Prison located in Hemel Hempstead, supporting around 1000 male patients aged 21 plus. In this role, you will work closely with the multidisciplinary team delivering Primary, Substance Misuse, and Mental Health care. You will work within a job share position, conducting clinical screening, medication reviews, attending, and sometimes facilitating safer prescribing meetings. You may also be involved in future plans for Pharmacist-led clinics. This role requires clinical experience and is ideally suited for an applicant with an independent prescriber qualification. Hours20 hours per week across Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. This part-time position offers an annual salary up to £52,000 per annum FTE, depending on experience. Qualifications & ExperienceRegistered Pharmacist with the GPhC Vocational Masters Degree in Pharmacy including pre-registration training While not essential, a prescriber qualification and SystmOne experience are desirable.
