We currently have an opportunity for aFinance Systems & Reporting Assistantto join our team based inExeter . Joining us on afull-time permanent basis , you will receive a competitive salary of£35,000 - £40,000per annumplus excellent benefits . About the role As a key member of our finance team, you’ll use your technical expertise and problem-solving skills to: - Support and Enhance Reporting Systems Maintain and develop robust financial reporting systems that align with evolving business needs. · Drive System Improvements Identify, design, and implement enhancements that streamline finance processes, reduce manual effort, and deliver measurable cost savings. · Collaborate with Stakeholders Work closely with finance and business teams to understand requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions. · Evaluate and Recommend Solutions Continuously assess tools and approaches to improve system performance and reporting capabilities. · Deliver Timely Insights Respond to ad-hoc reporting requests with speed and accuracy, supporting data-driven decision-making across the organisation. What you’ll be doing:Daily Reporting & Data Management:Prepare, maintain, and enhance daily data extracts and reports from multiple financial systems to support business operations. System Administration:Administer and maintain core financial reporting platforms including Infor dEPM (Dynamic Enterprise Performance Management), SSRS, SAP, NAV, and Ellipse. Period-End Support:Manage month-end and year-end processes within finance systems to ensure accurate and timely reporting. Report Development & Support : Assist the Finance team and wider business with updates and development of Power BI dashboards, SQL scripts, and Infor BI reports. Model Creation : Build and maintain financial models within Infor dEPM to support strategic and operational reporting needs. Systems Analysis & Optimisation:Analyse, design, and optimise business systems with a strong focus on enhancing dEPM functionality and performance. Stakeholder Collaboration:Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver actionable, technical solutions that meet business needs. Process Improvement & Automation:Champion continuous improvement initiatives, driving automation and efficiency in reporting and financial processes. Ad-Hoc Support:Provide responsive support to the Financial Control team for ad-hoc reporting and system-related requests What we are looking for:Experience with reporting tools such asPower BI,SQL, andInfor dEPM. A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail. AAT qualification (full or part) and solid understanding of financial principles. Intermediate Excel and SQL skills.
