HR Team and assists regional operational teams by providing timely and professional HR advice and support. Previous experience working in HR for a similar organisation - desirable Knowledge of UK Employment Law and HR best practices Ideally a HR Degree or CIPD qualification or working towards it Excellent IT Skills including Microsoft Software Packages (e.g. Excel) Able to achieve vetting to BS7858 StandardsWhat are you going to do:Provide support, advice, and guidance to the management team and site-based colleagues on the company’s employment-related policies and procedures; Advise the operational management team on various employee relations cases to ensure compliance with employment policies and legislation. Regular visits to sites are required, enabling the HR Officer to provide on-the-ground support and assistance to local colleagues with HR-related matters. Ensure adherence to best practices and legislative requirements that are effective and commercially appropriate. Produce and distribute relevant employment-related letters/ documentation promptly, ensuring records are maintained for future reference. Assist and advise the management team on change management processes such as TUPE, redundancy, restructuring, and contract variations. Manage regional case workload, follow up with managers on outstanding actions, and help resolve cases promptly. Deliver employee relations training to managers. Support ACAS and employment tribunal preparations. Collect and compile weekly/monthly reports and statistics. Handling various stages of the office-based employee lifecycle, from onboarding new hires, supporting the induction programme and managing offboarding processes. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personal information and benefits information. Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of HR operations.
