If yes, we are currently recruiting for aRotational Pharmacy Assistantto join our team at West Suffolk Hospital.The post holder will work across different areas of the pharmacy department, including Inpatient and Outpatient Dispensary, Reception, Distribution, Goods-In, and Pharmacy Stores, according to rotation plans and departmental needs. Quality Assurance may also be included in rotation plans.Rotational Pharmacy Assistants are valued team members, crucial for maintaining effective workflow through their versatility and knowledge of work practices.This role offers a great opportunity to build a career in pharmacy and make a real difference in patients' lives.This position is not covered by the Health and Social Care Visa and does not meet sponsorship requirements for a Skilled Worker (Tier 2) visa.Applicants must have been ordinarily resident in the UK for 3 years, as training is funded by the UK Apprenticeship scheme.As part of the pharmacy team, the post holder will dispense and label medicines, including controlled drugs, for wards and departments both internal and external to the Trust.Responsibilities include conducting ward stock checks, receiving and storing medicines procured from wholesalers, and performing reception duties with effective communication and organizational skills.If not already qualified, the post holder will start studying the Level 2 Pharmacy Services Apprenticeship within approximately 12-18 months of starting. What will you #BeKnown for?Please see the full job description for details.Key TasksPerform tasks according to departmental procedures under supervision.Reception duties including handling inpatient and outpatient requests, managing charges, and customer service.Participate in ward stock management, processing stock orders, and ensuring timely issue and return of pharmaceuticals.Receive and store pharmaceuticals and medical devices, manage stock, and participate in stock checks.Participate in the ward stock bulk fluid top-up service and ensure proper storage and cleanliness.#J-18808-Ljbffr
