LAW Absolute is recruiting on behalf of a Local Authority based in Berkshire, for a contracts and procurement lawyer to join them on a temporary basis, for an initial 3-month contract with potential to extend. You will assist as part of the Contracts, Property & Procurement Team in the provision of legal advice and support to Council Services primarily in the area of contracts and procurement related matters on a day to day basis. Previous UK local government experience is essential. Ability to attend the office in Berkshire on a hybrid-working basis is essential. To apply you will be: An England and Wales qualified solicitor, barrister, or chartered legal executive with at least 4 years’ PQE Able to demonstrate previous experience of handling a caseload of contracts and procurement matters Able to attend the office in Berkshire on a hybrid basis of 2 days per week in the office and 3 days per week from home The salary for this role is £45-£55/hour umbrella, depending on experience.
