NHS Lothian, Chief Nurse - Occupational Health and Safety ServiceYou will be employed by NHS Lothian and will work closely with the multidisciplinary team within the occupational health and safety service consisting of occupational health physicians, staff counsellors, occupational health physiotherapists, manual handling trainers, and health and safety professionals to promote service delivery in line with the Board and NHS Scotland strategy to deliver consistent clinical leadership and advice. You will be responsible for leading the delivery of occupational health nursing input to the Board and its staff and be responsible for the leadership, strategic direction and management of the occupational health nurses, advisers, technicians and the administration function. You will be based in Edinburgh with a requirement to travel to all NHS Lothian sites and on occasion to client sites within SE Scotland. You will be an experienced occupational health nurse manager with a proven track record of people development and management with evidence of having managed a team/ teams of occupational health nurses, possess strong leadership skills including motivating, facilitation and negotiation.
