You will work closely with Desk Heads and Supervisors across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, representing the business in various control and regulatory initiatives. This role provides an exciting opportunity to engage with multiple functions, including Technology, Compliance, Conduct and Operational Risk, Market Risk, Operational Risk, Credit Risk, Operations, Audit, and Legal. You will play a crucial role in ensuring effective risk management and compliance within our organization.Job ResponsibilitiesServe as a trusted control advisor to the Cash Equities Business. Organize materials and documentation for examinations and audits. Liaise with other functions, representing the Front Office's interests in control and regulatory initiatives. Review incidents with key stakeholders to determine root causes and deliver appropriate control deep dives and remedial actions. Review action plans from the Control and Operational Risk Evaluation, ensuring material risks are properly mitigated, and validate execution and closure. Facilitate the execution of various supervisory controls and exception management. Review, develop, and implement policies, supervisory, and regulatory attestations. Critically assess complex information and develop strategic policies that align with organizational goals and regulatory requirements. Manage multiple tasks efficiently while adapting to dynamic environments. Identify gaps in current policies and implement enhancements with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring both accuracy and compliance.Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And SkillsExperience in a trading middle office, audit, technology, business management, operations, risk, or compliance role. Understanding of the end-to-end product life cycle for equity products. Investigative mindset, able to see issues at both a high level and in detail and understand applicability across the business. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process re-engineering skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Strong organizational skills, managing and prioritizing multiple tasks across different time horizons within deadlines.Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, And SkillsExperience in controls, business management, middle office, risk, audit, or a compliance function. Technical acumen. Ability to collaborate effectively with various functions across the organization. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
