Direct message the job poster from X4 Technology A global leader in the Energy and Commodities sector who manages one of the largest energy portfolios worldwide is currently hiring a Senior P&L Analyst to join their growing Middle Office team. This is a key role focused on P&L reporting, market risk and credit risk management. Key Responsibilities of the P&L Analyst: Oversee the daily production of P&L reports and consolidate trade book data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and data integrity Liaise with traders to clarify booking amendments or business practices when necessary Collaborate with the finance team during month-end close to provide clear explanations for any necessary provisions Support leadership within the Middle Office by training, mentoring, and coaching junior team members Calculate the impact of interest rates (IR) and foreign exchange (FX) on P&L, working closely with Treasury to ensure alignment with expectations Key Requirements of the P&L Analyst: Must have:Proven experience in an energy or physical commodities trading environment Must have:Direct P&L experience with physical commodities such as Oil, Gas, LNG, Power, Coal etc Experience drafting commercial contracts with physical commodities Strong analytical skills with the ability to work quickly, logically, and accurately while juggling multiple priorities Skilled in presenting and communicating complex analysis to senior management A flexible, problem-solving mindset and ability to thrive in a multicultural team environment This is an urgent hire, and interviews will begin shortly.
