Responsibilities include improving forecasting, supporting audits, developing cost controls, and automating finance tasks. They will work with the Financial Controller to streamline month-end processes and manage Residential accounts, including quarterly VAT returns.ResponsibilitiesOperation - Residential Accounts Reconcile intercompany balances and issue invoices to ensure accurate cost recovery. Prepare quarterly residential financial statements, posting deferred income, expenses, and accruals. Collaborate with the Director of Residences on financial queries. Maintain logs of service charge demands and follow up on outstanding balances. Assist ownership with VAT return submissions. Operation - Month EndPrepare and post month-end accruals. Review general ledger and reclassify expenses as needed. Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies. Deliver month-end reports to ownership and asset managers. Operation - Automation ProjectsAutomate routine reporting tasks using Excel and other tools. Streamline credit card reconciliation processes. Assist with the implementation of DocuWare for AP invoice matching. Operation - OtherAnalyze stock variances and improve inventory controls. Develop labour standards with HODs for better workforce planning. Ensure compliance with internal control guidelines through training and monitoring. Support team development and cover key roles during absences. Perform additional duties as assigned, including working in different departments.
