Prison Support ProfessionalThis role offers a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced prison environment, providing critical support services and playing a key part in maintaining the smooth operation of daily activities.As a Prison Support Grade professional, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day running of a busy prison, working closely with colleagues to ensure the effective management of various tasks and duties.The role involves a combination of desk duties and physical tasks, such as lifting, carrying, and walking to accompany vehicles across the prison grounds. You will also have opportunities to engage in security and search procedures at the gate, manage deliveries, supervise visitors, and monitor phone calls and CCTV footage.Travel to Work: Some prison establishments are located in rural areas with limited public transport options. Having a driving license and owning a vehicle is beneficial but not an essential requirement of the role.
