Commercial / Residential Valuation Surveyor - (Senior Surveyor, Associate Director, Director level) - Home working.Hiring in Birmingham and surrounding areas.Latymer Search is pleased to partner with an excellent, fast-growing independent valuation firm. Established four years ago, they have grown to a team of around 16 full-time employed surveyors with an external team of consultants.Having had several conversations with the owner/Director, I find him to be very down-to-earth, forward-thinking, likable, and well-balanced. They are happy to allow people to work with autonomy and provide training/support where needed. The team supports each other, with regular company meet-ups, including golf days and weekly social calls. It seems to be a positive and enjoyable group of people to work with.Offering:Basic salary - Open to discussion depending on experience - Up to £75,000 per annum, plus car allowance and bonus.Lucrative bonus structure - Approx. anything over £200k billed, 25%; over £350k billed, 40%. Open to discussion depending on experience and location.25 days holiday, plus bank holidays.Car allowance or electric company car option.Private Healthcare (single or family).Standard state pension.Additional information:Average report turnaround times are 5-10 days for commercial and 5 days for residential.Bonus is paid quarterly.Average fee is approximately £2,000.95% of workload involves loan security work; approximately 70% commercial, with the rest being HMOs, Redbook valuations, and residential.Valuers on approximately 200 UK bank panels, with growth potential.Each surveyor manages their own diary, with team secretary support.No glass ceilings; promotion based solely on performance.Technology used includes Kel, Searchland, Salesforce, Property Data, Rightmove, CoStar, EIG, ProMap, BCIS, Credisafe, Kamma.Approximately 3-4 jobs per week, depending on complexity.All figures are approximate; additional car allowance or bonus payments may apply.Latymer Search is a recruitment expert in the valuation, building surveying, and real estate sectors across England and Wales.
