Working within the multidisciplinary team of nurses, plaster technicians and physiotherapists in a friendly and supportive environmentUnder the supervision of the ward manager the nurse is responsible for the provision, organisation and direction of nursing care of the patients in his/her care. To communicate effectively with all members of the multidisciplinary team to ensure safe and high-quality care is providedHave a good knowledge and understanding of wound care and some trauma and orthopaedic knowledge.To Participate in the assessing, planning, implementing of treatment and care in an outpatient settingWrightington, Wigan and Leigh Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust are the proud providers of acute hospital and community services to the people of the Wigan Borough and surrounding areas.
