As a Healthcare Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in supporting patients and helping clinical teams deliver outstanding care in a warm, respectful environment.Key ResponsibilitiesProviding face-to-face support to patients within our practices Carrying out clinical duties such as blood pressure checks, ECGs, phlebotomy, wound care, weight management, and NHS health checks B12, shingles, pneumococcal and flu injections Supporting the nursing and GP team in chaperoning patients Assisting in the assessment and surveillance of patients health & wellbeing Vaccine and cold chain storage monitoring and recording Maintaining accurate and up-to-date clinical records Assisting with infection control and general health promotion Contributing to a positive and proactive team culture Support with clinical stock control management - clearing and restocking consultation roomsSkills, Knowledge and ExpertisePrevious experience as a Healthcare Assistant in a primary care or community setting (preferred) NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) Competence in core HCA duties such as phlebotomy, ECGs, wound care, etc. A kind, respectful and professional approach to patient care Excellent communication and organisational skills A team player who’s flexible, reliable and committed to continuous learningBenefitsA supportive, forward-thinking workplace that values your contribution Opportunities for ongoing training and career development Access to the NHS Pension Scheme 20 days annual leave + bank holidays (pro rata) Employee wellbeing support and professional development funding The chance to be part of a growing organisation that’s changing the future of primary careApply today and help shape the future of community healthcare.We welcome applications from all backgrounds and are committed to building a diverse and inclusive team.
