Job Description Reporting to theHead of Legal, Australia & New Zealand , this is a broad in-house role that supports the business locally, while offering the opportunity to contribute to global legal initiatives and cross-border projects.Key responsibilities include:Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a range of commercial contractsAdvising on intellectual property, corporate governance, and employment law mattersSupporting business stakeholders with timely, commercially aware legal adviceContributing to the continuous improvement of legal processes and contract frameworksEngaging in cross-functional collaboration on global legal initiatives and group-level matters The Successful Applicant We're looking for a proactive and commercially minded lawyer who thrives in a fast-paced, relationship-driven environment. Ideally, you will bring:4-8 years' PAE , starting in a top-tier law firm, followed by in-house experienceStrongcontract drafting and negotiation skillsExposure tocorporate and commercial law , with bonus points for IP or agribusiness experienceA collaborative mindset and the confidence to advise a wide range of stakeholdersA desire to work in-person with a close-knit team (5 days per week at the Melbourne HQ on St Kilda Road)This is an excellent opportunity for a lawyer looking to grow their in-house career in a purpose-driven, global organisation with a strong local footprint.What's on Offer Salary $135,000-$155,000 + super Office with excellent, modern amenities, close to the city and opposite a tram stop.
