About the role: As a Client Relationship Manager, you will play a pivotal part in delivering our Clients & Sectors strategy. Working closely with relationship partners, global client teams, and across the firm’s extensive network, you will help deepen our relationships with key clients in the Financial Institutions sector. Your work will strengthen these partnerships and drive revenue growth by identifying and seizing new business opportunities. Key responsibilities: Collaborate with partners and client teams to develop and execute strategic client plans for priority Financial Institutions clients. Use your sector knowledge and market data to identify new business opportunities and complex, high-margin work. Drive cross-selling, initiate new business introductions, and safeguard existing relationships through proactive business development aligned to the firm’s goals. Gather, analyse, and share client and sector information, and communicate insights to teams in a clear, actionable way. Manage fee negotiations, support panel submissions, and prepare client presentations and value reports. Engage proactively with clients, building trust and ensuring excellent service. Promote and facilitate structured client feedback, ensuring recommendations are acted upon and communicated. Monitor financial performance and address issues with relevant partners. Harness Salesforce to manage client activities and improve transparency across the client portfolio. Support secondments and use these opportunities to further relationships and share insights.Your experience: Demonstrable client development experience in legal or professional services. Strategic thinker with the ability to spot and secure new opportunities within the Financial Institutions sector. Excellent relationship-building skills; able to develop trust with both internal and external stakeholders. Strong written and verbal communication skills, commercial acumen, and attention to detail. Comfortable working with data, reporting, and analytics. Experience with client relationship management methodologies and account planning in professional services. Results-oriented, resourceful, and strong in planning and project management. Degree in marketing, business, or a related field; marketing qualifications preferred.
