You will be responsible for the educational development of nursing staff within this area, in line with national and local initiatives. You will also be involved in the planning and delivery of specialist education and training.We are seeking a highly motivated Band 6 Nurse who will bring sound clinical knowledge and experience in Community Nursing. This is a challenging role in frontline NHS services. You must be a role model and extremely organised, supportive and able to communicate effectively. Act as a resource for theory and best practice in the support of staff, patients and their families.Promote staff development through assessment, supervision,education and clinical practice.Support the clinical development of nurses during and following assessor and supervisor training. Support assessors and supervisors in practice and with new nurse development. Support the community teams in the delivery of the Statutory, Mandatory and Service Specific training as identified by the Trust Work collaboratively with other service providers to deliver external training programmes. Contribute to the induction courses for new nurses. Promote the philosophy of Dudley Group of Hospitals.
