Part-time and sessional, pro-rata RoleWe are looking to recruit full-time and part-time Young Carer Support Workers with relevant qualifications and experience supporting Carers aged 5–25, in education and/or the community. Founded by Carers in 1998, Capital Carers is a highly regarded charity providing support to unpaid carers of all ages. Our ethos is to provide high-quality support services that enable unpaid carers to maintain some normality of life while carrying out their caring roles. Our vision is that all carers receive the help and support they need to sustain their caring roles. We are currently in the fourth year of an eight-year contract to deliver support services to young carers in schools, colleges, and the community in the North West Locality of Edinburgh. You will work flexibly, including some early evenings and occasional weekends. An element of working from home is also envisaged.
