Head of Financial Planning and Analysis - Heartwood CollectionHead of Financial Planning and Analysis - Heartwood Collection Role Overview: We are seeking an ambitious individual to join our team as the Head of Financial Planning & Analysis. This role offers an excellent opportunity for career growth within a high-performing finance team of 13 members. The successful candidate will report directly to the Finance Director and work closely with the CFO and senior management across all functions. This position involves managing a team of three, delivering financial reporting and analysis, and partnering with department heads to support strategic decision-making. Based at our Head Office in Teddington, Middlesex, the role requires a proactive and curious individual capable of working with structured data and navigating ambiguity. Key Responsibilities: Lead, motivate, and develop the finance team to achieve goals and foster a high-performance culture. Partner with department heads to ensure decisions are based on sound financial insights. Manage weekly/monthly reporting processes, including sales, margin, and labour costs, and oversee Tableau reporting tools. Conduct regular analysis on sales metrics, labour results, and contribute insights to trading meetings. Collaborate with the CEO and procurement team on menu modelling and margin analysis. Oversee the annual budget process, prepare reports, and manage re-budgeting activities. Coordinate monthly board reporting and support strategic discussions. Manage investment appraisals for new sites and perform ad hoc analysis as required. Ideal Candidate Profile: Qualified accountant with 3-5+ years PQE and a strong academic background. Experience in financial analysis, preferably in private equity-backed environments. Excellent communication, presentation, and Excel skills. Strategically minded, capable of driving change and managing multiple projects. Experience with Tableau and multi-site hospitality businesses is advantageous but not essential.
