The team The Distribution team manages the distribution of all ITV channels and on-demand content in the UK, working across key strategic partnerships such as: Sky, Virgin Media, Amazon, Google and Apple. We are a growing team, with a significant requirement to ensure we meet the demands of our external partners and our distribution objectives, focusing on maximising ITV’s monetisable reach whilst also securing our position in an increasingly competitive video market. The role We are currently seeking a Delivery Manager to work within the Distribution team on a number of technology and product related projects. This is a rare opportunity to work for one of the UKs most iconic brands, ITV. You will be working on amazing projects and cutting-edge technologies surrounded by a team of like-minded professionals from whom you can learn and grow. You will work closely with a range of external and internal stakeholders, mainly the Technology, Product, Marketing and Content teams but also including our legal and commercial teams. Your role will be managing all aspects of the implementation of the projects from solution design to delivery and handover to operations; as well as maintaining excellent ongoing relationships with our partners. This role entails… Following the requirements defined by our business teams, this role plans and coordinates internal resources and third-parties to execute projects with the aim of delivering the best possible viewing experience for our customers and audiences. You will work across all relevant stakeholders to establish a plan of work, identifying integration dependencies, sequencing of activities and identifying areas of risk to manage. The successful candidate will be an effective and inspiring individual who can represent the team in internal and external meetings. They will also have a strong ability to foster relationships and be comfortable motivating and coordinating work done by others. The project management responsibilities include: Definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility. Work with our partners to clearly define outcomes and approaches to delivering each project. Act as a point of escalation and communicate complex problems in a simple form to other team members and business stakeholders. Work in partnership with the ITV legal team to ensure robust compliance to contracts and practices of work. Manage the relationships with our partners and act as an ambassador for ITV and our team across ITV and our partners. The role will require the ability to lead from the front and bring fresh creative ideas to deliver our goals and exceed expectations with demanding clients. Setting outcomes and success criteria for the technical delivery teams. You will be able to facilitate the delivery flow of a team, managing the pace and tempo. Set, communicate and manage project priorities by value. Leading regular project meetings and briefings with internal teams and stakeholders for allocated projects and working closely with the Head of Partner Delivery. Track project performance and ensure we deliver against the outcomes that deliver value to our partners and viewers. As required, attend agile stand-ups and other project related meetings to update on progress, blockers and challenges. Analysis of work in the roadmap/backlog and work with the project teams to improve product features. Be flexible in working on-site and remotely as a member of a dynamic team as well as coming together at times to work collaboratively in workshops and partner meetings. Skills you’ll need(minimum criteria) Experience of delivering a diverse portfolio of projects, preferably, but not essential in the Media industry. Excellent internal and partner facing communication skills and relationship building experience. Good presentation skills are essential. High level of technical competence with aptitude for learning new technologies and processes. Ability to apply a mix of business and technical knowledge to achieve great results. An understanding of the media industry with a knowledge of TV and video-on-demand content is preferred but not essential. Other things we’re looking for(key criteria) Experience at engaging and influencing senior decision makers. A confident communicator, with the gravitas to lead, influence and steer projects, stakeholders and be an ambassador for the team. Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, whilst retaining an attention to detail. Experience working effectively under pressure, delivering projects on time and on budget. Highly committed and able to work effectively in a team as well as delivering individually. Organised with strong analytical skills, and able to make sense of complex and logical problems quickly. Understanding of, but not essential, Jira, Slack and Miro. ITV is for everyone.
