We’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive HR Coordinator to support the day-to-day operations of the HR department at The Groucho Club. This is a varied and hands-on role, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about people, processes, and creating a positive workplace culture. You’ll work closely with the HR and L&D to deliver a high-quality service across recruitment, payroll, employee relations and general HR administration. What You’ll Be Doing Supporting the Head of HR in delivering a responsive and efficient HR service. Managing the recruitment inbox, posting job ads, screening CVs, and scheduling interviews. Assisting with onboarding and offboarding processes, including coordinating inductions, probation reviews, and exit interviews. Overseeing the online training platform. Managing payroll data entry and auditing time and attendance records. Coordinating salary and bonus letters, and tracking recruitment agency spend. Maintaining accurate employee records in Harri. Supporting employee relations by preparing documentation and taking investigation notes. Providing first-line HR support and advice to staff on policies and procedures. Attending bi-weekly staff inductions and organising monthly Employee of the Month programme. Tracking visa expiries and ensuring compliance. Assisting with internal communications, including birthdays, anniversaries, and staff newsletters. Coordinating quarterly staff events and supporting health & safety documentation. Managing office supplies, printers, and maintaining a tidy and organised back-of-house office. Preparing materials for meetings and maintaining efficient filing systems. Supporting the Head of HR and L&D with ad hoc projects and covering in their absence. Supporting Artfarm HR Head Office team with ad hoc projects and tasks. What Makes You a Great Fit Previous experience in an HR support or administrative role. Strong organisational and time management skills. High attention to detail and accuracy. Confident using HR systems (experience with Harri is a plus). A good understanding of HR processes and employment law basics. Discreet, professional, and able to handle sensitive information. A proactive, can-do attitude and a willingness to learn. Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
