We have an opportunity for a Tenancy Manager to join our in-house housing service (Mid Devon Housing) working across the district based from our Head Office in Tiverton. Our benefits include: Competitive rate of pay Generous annual leave entitlements A flexible benefits scheme including access to discounted shopping (online and high street) and events Employee Assistance Programme Excellent training and development opportunities leading to nationally recognised qualifications Monday to Friday (except following the 8 bank holidays and Christmas) Free parking at site As yourduties will include but are not limited to: Have a commitment to social housing and great customer service delivery in order to be the best landlord we can for our tenants and other customers Accountable for an effective, quality and comprehensive customer, tenancy management service at the very core of our housing service Achieving high levels of tenant satisfaction and tenancy sustainment To lead, motivate and manage a wide range of core functions across tenancy and estate management including: neighbourhood estates, communal areas and shared spaces, anti-social behaviour and complex tenancy cases, safeguarding and vulnerable tenants together with allocations, rent income and debt recovery To be the lead Officer within Mid Devon Housing in respect of its learning and development policy and practice under the requirements of the social housing professional Competency and Conduct standard Leading on the delivery housing management apprenticeships and enabling us to grow and develop our teams in-house Contribute to the achievement of its housing targets and objectives across all service standards and performance indicators Play a key part in taking forward our services and delivering a community focused housing service that puts the tenants at heart of what we do At Mid Devon District Council we value: Pride, People, Performance and Partnerships.
