DescriptionIncrease your chances of reaching the interview stage by reading the complete job description and applying promptly.As an Assistant Depot Manager, you will oversee all day-to-day activities in the depot liaising directly with the Depot Manager to ensure all client KPIs are met and the depot functions in a profitable, safe manner.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise of all operatives to ensure a high standard of work is maintainedContinuously update the Ops Board and Insphire to ensure all jobs are completed electronicallyCarry out Mod+ Form site specific checks on site set ups that have been carried out that week to ensure safety and compliance Perform daily checks on Daily Vehicle Check forms & review Weekly Gang Check forms every Monday to ensure compliance across the fleet (ops & vehicles). Liaise with Fleet accordingly for any maintenance and repairsComplete the log books for all IPV & 7.5T vehicle activity Complete the Weekly Yard Check every Monday to ensure the depot remains compliant with customer & GTM requirementsEnsure the completion of 1 site audit per operative per month working with the Depot Manager to ensure LRQA complianceEnsure 24/7 call out service is always available via the Rota system already agreed. Complete the nights handover email accordinglyProvide out of hours Duty Manager assistance as per the rota provided by the Regional Manager. Ensure the Weekend Handover is completed and passed to the Regional Manager.Delivery of team compliance briefs with Depot Manager. Also provide input for the Monthly / Bi Monthly Team Brief for Support Services Manager Ensure all Speeding Forms and Recharges are handled and returned in weekLiaise with Depot Manager regarding kit levelsComplete weekly Damaged Plant Report every FridayComplete Owned / Hired heads report every Monday, Wednesday & FridayComplete a quarterly stock take of all assets. Complete inter-depot transfer where required and complete the Bi-weekly Plant SheetsWork closely with the Depot Manager with the recruitment of staff and ensure all members of staff receive the appropriate induction, training & probationary reviews Manage any disciplinary procedures working with Depot ManagerLiaise with client regarding site queries and support TM Operatives with any site queries. Maintain a good working relationship with all clients.Complete 100% checking of timesheets and submit for processing every MondayResolve any pay queries for the operativesManage your own teams holiday diary and update the Ops Board accordingly (Also update Mod+ for PAYE staff)Attend client site visits / complete site surveysWork with both the Business Development Team & Commercial Team to complete any quotations requiredBe commercially aware of any jobs that require subcontractor assistance. Ensure all Subcontractor Applications are correct and in accordance to our bookingsComplete the Invoice Run review as provided by the Regional Back Office ManagerAttend the weekly P&L call with the Commercial Team and Regional Manager to ensure the depot is performing in line (or above) the weekly forecastAssist the RBO Team with any CAD / site sketches requiredAnswer all TMA queries on day working alongside the RBO Team for assistanceReport any HR issues to the Depot Manager and assist in their resolutionManage all Events from start to finish including attendance on the day to ensure they are delivered safely and to the highest standardsExperience and QualificationsLantra 12A, B, C and D, 002, 010Preferably Lantra LTMO or TSCOFull clean driving licenseExperience in reading and relaying information on Utility DrawingsExperience using CAD to generate TM drawingsAuditing experience or training qualifications an advantageSalary and BenefitsWe offer a competitive salary based on experience along with a full benefits package.Network Plus is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
