Passionate about innovation and consumer trends, this business is constantly evolving and now looking for a talented and driven Senior Development Technologist to join their creative development team.A full UK driving licence is required for this role.The RoleThis is a varied and hands-on role where you’ll be working closely with cross-functional teams, to help deliver an exciting pipeline of new products that meet both customer briefs and business goals.From initial concept through to factory launch, you will have full exposure to the development process, working to critical paths and helping shape products that delight consumers every time. You will be a key contributor in a fast-paced environment, balancing creativity with commercial awareness.Your responsibilities will include:Innovating new products and processes in response to customer briefsCreating recipes that hit key targets for flavour, quality, and profitabilityPresenting concepts and ideas both internally and externallyBenchmarking products against the market to keep ahead of trendsWorking collaboratively with other departments to ensure smooth delivery from kitchen to launchMonitoring quality and suggesting improvements across product ranges.The PersonThis role would suit a passionate and detail-oriented Product Developer or NPD Technologist with a strong interest in food and an eagerness to grow. Ideally, you’ll bring a degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related subject. You’ll have hands-on NPD experience in a food manufacturing setting. You’ll also have strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and great communication and presentation skills.Additionally, you’ll have a commercial mindset with an understanding of costings and margin requirements.If you’re creative, curious, and keen to make your mark within an ambitious and supportive team, this could be the perfect next step for you.
