Category Lead BirminghamHybridCirca £40,000 - £50,000 + Car Our client are an award-winning fleet management company who are continuing to grow yearly. They are seeking a category lead for their garage network to join their Birmingham office.Responsibilities – Category Lead – Garage NetworkDevelop and manage relationships with the SMR garage network in line with current corporate strategy to drive continual improvement in supplier performance and network utilisationManage key SMR supplier contracts, invoices and documentation for compliance with existing agreements (KPIs, SLAs, price)Support the implementation of new customer mobilisations by sourcing additional suppliers and service lines as requiredSupport the development of our Garage network approach including our offer, rewards and network communityWork closely with the network to ensure we receive contractual revenues/rebates from suppliersWork with suppliers to reduce contract administration burden across internal teams and improve supplier governanceUnderstand internal/external customer’s needs and investigate potential with current and new suppliersLead and implement changes to supplier processes and communicate both internally/externallyQualification/Experience – Category Lead – Garage NetworkAn education to Degree level in Business, and/ or Finance (preferred), or CIPS qualification (or working toward),Experience managing large supplier panels Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (i.e. Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).Attention to detail, accuracy in addition to the ability to work effectively independently and as a team member.Strong interpersonal and communication (written and oral) skillsBenefits – Category Lead – 26 days annual holiday entitlement (+ 8 bank holidays)Group Personal Pension PlanDeath in Service insurance coverCritical illness insurance coverFree parkingHealth cash planProfit Sharing Annual BonusFree Breakdown cover (eligible employees – service related)Long Service Awards, Support for further education / employee development.Car or car allowanceFor more information on this role, please contact Scott Montgomery on 01453 852566 or send a copy of your CV to details of other opportunities available within your chosen field please visit our website
