People Solutions ManagerLocation: BedfordshireEmployment Type: Permanent or FTCSalary: £60,000 - £75,000 DOERole OverviewOur client is seeking a proactive and experienced People Solutions Manager to lead the day-to-day management and optimisation of core HR systems; particularly Workday. This role will oversee a specialist team responsible for ensuring smooth, compliant, and efficient system operations that support key people processes across the organisation.The ideal candidate will be comfortable navigating complex systems, managing multiple stakeholders, and driving continuous improvement across HR technologies and processes. This position plays a critical role in maintaining data integrity, supporting seamless payroll and recruitment operations, and enhancing the overall employee digital experience.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the management and optimisation of core HR systems, with a primary focus on WorkdaySupervise and support a team of specialists delivering daily operational excellenceEnsure high standards of data governance, quality, and security across HR systemsCollaborate with key partners in HR, IT, Legal, and other departments to ensure systems meet business needsOversee system dependencies across payroll, recruitment, and employee lifecycle processesIdentify and implement process enhancements to improve efficiency and user experienceManage system changes and upgrades, ensuring clear documentation and minimal disruptionSupport strategic planning for future HR technology needs and scalabilityPromote a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and collaboration within the teamKey RequirementsProven experience managing Workday or a comparable HRIS platform in a complex organisationStrong knowledge of HR data processes, compliance, and systems governanceDemonstrated ability to lead operational teams and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environmentExperience supporting key people functions such as payroll, onboarding, and reporting through system infrastructureSkilled in stakeholder engagement, change management, and cross-functional collaborationMethodical, detail-oriented, and solutions-focused approach to problem-solvingStrong communication skills, with the ability to explain systems and data processes clearly to non-technical audiencesPassion for driving system improvements and enabling better ways of working
