Construction Solicitor - Contentious / Disputes Newcastle, UK (2-days WFH) 55,000 - 75,000 I am working alongside a full-service law firm, with multiple offices in the Northeast. They are currently seeking an experienced Construction Solicitor to join their growing Commercial department. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a supportive and forward-thinking team. Responsibilities of Construction Solicitor: Provide clear, strategic legal advice to a broad client base. Manage your own contentious construction caseload. Handle claims involving construction, engineering, energy, and professional negligence. Conduct adjudications, arbitrations, litigation, and mediation. Maintain accurate case files and comply with data protection and file management standards. Actively participate in business development activities. Requirements for Construction Solicitor: 4 years PQE in construction law, with strong contentious experience. Strong litigation and contractual dispute resolution skills. Proven ability to manage caseloads independently and meet billing targets. Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
