Team Manager Mental Health Crisis Service (Night Shift) Location: Thanet, Kent (Hospital-based site) Salary: 30,826 per annum Hours: 37.5 hours per week | 8pm8am shifts 3 hours admin time Contract: Permanent Venn Group is currently recruiting for a Team Manager on behalf of a respected mental health provider delivering a 24/7 crisis service in the Thanet area. This is a key leadership role within a non-clinical mental health crisis service that provides a safe and supportive alternative to A&E for individuals in mental distress. Role Overview: This is a rewarding opportunity to lead and support a dedicated night team working to provide high-quality, recovery-focused interventions. Based in a hospital-adjacent location, youll manage a diverse team of staff and volunteers, work collaboratively with clinical partners, and ensure safe and effective service delivery for individuals in acute need. Key Responsibilities: Provide operational leadership during the night shift (8pm8am), ensuring a welcoming, non-clinical environment for service users Oversee the work of Crisis Recovery Workers, Peer Support Workers, and volunteers Collaborate with external services including crisis teams, home treatment teams, and hospital liaison Facilitate and supervise 1:1 intervention, group activities, and appropriate signposting Lead on risk management, safeguarding, and support planning Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to service development Requirements: Significant experience in mental health services, ideally community-based or crisis-oriented Knowledge of primary and secondary care pathways Familiarity with the Care Act and Mental Health Act Proven leadership skills, including managing, coaching, and developing staff Confident in prioritising caseloads and working with individuals with complex needs Excellent interpersonal, engagement and motivational skills Whats on Offer: Comprehensive, in-person induction and training 25 days annual leave statutory holidays 5% contributory pension Ongoing personal and professional development opportunities A dynamic and supportive team culture55b20050-bc17-4e5d-bfce-3c406318dffc
