Neon Contracts are currently recruiting for one of Birmingham's foremost paint and powder coating businesses.Apply below after reading through all the details and supporting information regarding this job opportunity.The job involves the following duties:Applying Powder Coating: applying powder coating to various parts and components.Targeted Work: Focusing on quality and detail to achieve a high-quality finish.Identifying Defects: Detecting paint defects and performing nibbing (a form of surface preparation) before polishing.Polishing: Polishing different components to meet cosmetic requirements, following process cards and instructions.Maintaining a Clean Workspace: Keeping the work area clean, tidy, and uncluttered to minimize damage to coated components.Equipment Maintenance: Performing routine checks on equipment and maintaining it in good working order.Safety Compliance: Ensuring compliance with safety regulations, using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times, and properly handling hazardous materials.General Operative Duties: Assisting with other duties as needed by the business.Following Process Cards: Adhering to detailed process cards and work instructions for specific projects.Hours of work:7am-16pm mon-Thurs/ 7am-12pm FriThis role is a long term position.Attention to detail and a high level of quality is essential as is a willingness to learn.This offers a superb opportunity for someone to join this dynamic and forward - thinking company and for the right individual to progress within the organisation.Job Types: Full-time, Temporary, ContractTPBN1_UKTJ
