Remote but with frequent travel to farm sites across the UK.Full-time permanent employment opportunity for an auditor.Regenerative ag realm.KEY SKILLS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:Strong knowledge of both arable and pastural agricultural practices in the UK.Numerate and comfortable reviewing farmer logbooks and working with Excel.Happy in a role combining remote work with UK-wide travel.Nice to have (although not a requirement): exposure to regenerative and sustainable farming practices, or at least an interest in this area!SUMMARY:This business runs a pioneering soil health programme for British farmers, mentoring them to adopt beneficial management practices that build soil organic matter and sequester carbon. They measure soil carbon stocks on member farms every five years and generate high-integrity soil carbon credits following the international Verified Carbon Standard (VCS). Currently serving over 100 farmers across England, Wales and Scotland, they aim to work with 200 farmers by the end of 2026. The successful candidate will support farms in benefiting from this VCS programme through two key responsibilities: 1. Reviewing farm management logbooks submitted annually for correctness and completion 2. Visiting farms periodically to confirm the accuracy of submitted management logbooks.This varied and stimulating position places you at the forefront of a dynamic industry helping British farmers become part of the solution to climate change. You'll have the opportunity to engage with many leading regenerative farmers in the UK while being key to the operational delivery of verified soil carbon credits.
